How to Join the Challenge? Challenge Guidelines
I really did not expect this… but it seems this challenge is about to become something very interesting…
I’ve been asked what are the challenge rules if any - and - how can people join - here is what I was thinking:
1. It does not matter if you’re starting to work on a new project or an existing one, as long as this project is not making you ANY money right now.
2. Lay out your plan in advance - and post it for us to read - this will not only educate others but also put positive pressure for you to act. You can always change your plan as needed.
3. Report your progress somewhere we can see. A blog… a forum thread… as long as people are able to follow your low points/high points/success. Posting as you go has a few reasons:
- People will learn from what you do.
- People will be able to help with advice if you need it
- Again that positive pressure thing.
- People tend to think that IM is about immediate & fast success and when they don’t hit it immediately they quit. Would it not be inspiring seeing others who continue despite their difficulties?
4. Send me an email to - lichter AT gmail.com - where I can add you to my list on the main page so others can see your progress journal.
5. That’s it.
Why should you join? What will you win? Well isn’t it obvious…?
$3000 extra income a month!!! Isn’t this a high enough reward?
Where I come from you can get $3000 a month by renting an apartment which is worth around $1.5 million dollars, so if you want you can look at it that way.
If you need further incentive, I promise you - the respect of many others in this small community of Internet Marketers.
One more thing - This is a nice chance for a small showdown…
People all over argue which approach is the best.
Mini sites/large content sites/affiliate programs/adsense/email marketing/long vs. short sales letter/multimedia/InfoProducts/Underachiever/Over…. you get the drift, here’s a chance for each person to prove the effectiveness of his way.
As I’m writing this… 2 people have joined and agreed to blog about it and 5 others have said they are taking me up on this challenge but have not yet told me where they plan on posting their progress.
I think the more the merrier!
Good luck for us all!

You may also want to note that we do not need to disclose *what* our niche or *secret product* is either.
I personally, insert phrases like Site A and use generic words to describe what I’m doing. Nothing personal, I just don’t want a niche I worked very hard at locating to become saturated before I have a chance to get as much as I can first
— I don’t mind sharing *how* I did it though…

Like Star, I won’t make public the sites I’m developing for this project either.
I’ve now registered “site A” and selected an initial group of 50 profitable keywords, with the content arriving for 25 articles in a day or two. I’m uploading the basic framework of the site tonight, and will begin a blog on it immediately.
By the end of Easter I’ll have my first 4 new websites named and at least 50 keyword phrases selected for each one. Then comes writing and having written the content.

Hi,
You can add me to the fray - I couldn’t find the email address I was supposed to mail
http://pauls-challenge.blogspot.com
By the way I highly recommend a little program called Blogjet for posting to blogs (not that I’m any kind of blog expert (yet))

Welcome to the challenge Paul!
I’ve used BlogJet a few times, and I keep going back to w.bloggar (free) - It gives me a little more freedom/flexibility with my posting.
Don’t get me wrong, they are both good software, but for bloggers with different styles.
